"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."— Carl Rogers

Why does therapy matter? Because every person deserves to feel understood, valued, and empowered to live authentically.
For over twelve years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and couples as they navigate life's complexities. What draws me to this work isn't just the science of psychology—though I deeply value evidence-based practices—it's the profound human connection that happens when someone feels truly seen and heard, often for the first time.
Therapy isn't about fixing what's "broken." It's about creating space for you to explore, understand, and embrace all parts of yourself. In our sessions, there's no judgment, no timeline for healing, and no pressure to be anyone other than who you are in this moment.
My journey into psychology began during my own college years when I experienced the transformative power of therapy firsthand. That experience taught me that healing happens not through advice or quick fixes, but through genuine relationship and patient exploration of our inner worlds.
I completed my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Pacific University, where I specialized in trauma-informed care and mindfulness-based interventions. My training includes extensive work with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I'm also certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for trauma treatment.
Beyond my clinical training, I believe deeply in the healing power of nature, creativity, and community. When I'm not in session, you'll find me hiking the trails around our beautiful area, practicing photography, or volunteering with local mental health advocacy groups. These experiences continually remind me that healing happens in many forms and spaces.
My approach is simple: I meet you where you are, honor your unique story, and trust in your innate capacity for growth and resilience.
I believe therapy should be accessible and transparent. Here's what you can expect regarding fees and how we'll work together.
Individual therapy provides a dedicated space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. Together, we'll work on:
$150 per session (50 minutes)
I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for those experiencing financial hardship. Please don't hesitate to discuss this with me.
Couples therapy focuses on strengthening your relationship and deepening your connection. We'll explore:
$180 per session (50 minutes)
Longer sessions (80 minutes) are available for $240 when deeper work is needed.
A Note About Our Work Together
Therapy is a collaborative process, and I'm honored to be part of your journey. My role is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore, heal, and grow at your own pace. There's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with, and you're always in control of the direction of our work together.
I'll respond within 24 hours. All communications are confidential.
